15 days in Bolivia: Amazon jungle pampas, Lake Titicaca, La Paz, Sucre, Potosi silver mine & Uyuni Salt Flats. Independent trip. Book now.
Bolivia is one of the few countries on Earth where you can swim with pink river dolphins and stand on the world’s largest salt flat in the same trip. This fifteen-day journey begins in the lowland Amazon basin — the Bolivian jungle and pampas of Rurrenabaque, where pink river dolphins, anacondas, capybaras, caimans, and howler monkeys inhabit one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. From there, the route ascends through the Andes: Lake Titicaca, La Paz, colonial Sucre, the silver mines of Potosi, and finally the Salar de Uyuni and the Eduardo Avaroa lagoon region. Low to high. Jungle to salt flat. One continuous journey across the full vertical range of Bolivia.

The Bolivian pampas is a flooded savanna north of Rurrenabaque, accessible by riverboat. It is one of the best places in South America to see wildlife at close range: pink river dolphins that swim alongside the boat, anacondas sunbathing on riverbanks, caimans in the shallows, and capybaras — the world’s largest rodents — grazing on the banks.
One of the world’s most biodiverse protected areas, spanning from Andean cloud forest to tropical lowland rainforest. It is home to over 1,000 bird species, 270 mammal species, and a staggering range of plant life.
For Bolivia — no. The country is large, the distances are significant, and each region — the Amazon, the altiplano, the colonial cities, the salt flat — deserves genuine time.
Yes — if you prefer to spend all six Rurrenabaque days in the pampas or all in the jungle, we can adjust the itinerary. Both options are available.
