Terms and conditions
Multi-day tours
These Terms and Conditions apply to your booking. Please read them carefully. Your contract is with ANDES 2 AMAZON ("the Company"), and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
These Terms constitute the entire and binding agreement between the Company and the Client. No other verbal or written representation, warranty, prior agreement or description of services applies, other than as expressed herein. By booking a trip, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation policy and the limitations of liability.
1. Reservations and payments
- Once you have accepted the itinerary and quote sent by ANDES 2 AMAZON, you must pay a deposit to hold the services.
- We will tell you the deposit amount at the time of booking. In some cases, full payment of certain services, such as flights, may be required at the time of booking.
- The deposit must be paid at least 30 days (4 weeks) before the start of services. For groups of 10 or more participants, the deposit must be paid at least 40 days (about 6 weeks) before the start of services.
- The balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the start of services.
- If the full amount is not paid on time, ANDES 2 AMAZON reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- If you book within 30 days of departure (40 days for groups), your place is guaranteed only once we receive full payment for the services booked.
- We will only purchase flight tickets, train or bus tickets and entrance tickets once we have received your deposit.
- A booking is accepted and becomes definite only on the date ANDES 2 AMAZON sends a confirmation to the customer, their travel agent or an authorized third party. The contract between the Company and the Client comes into force on that date.
2. Prices
- International and domestic airfares shown in any of our programs are for reference only and may change at any time depending on availability and how far in advance the booking is made.
- The Company reserves the right to change the published price of any tour or service due to increases in rates or transport costs (fuel, airport charges, scheduled airfares, train fares and other costs included in our contracts with transport providers), currency fluctuations and government actions. Any price increase or decrease will be fully explained and justified by ANDES 2 AMAZON.
- The price per person in US dollars is based on the number of participants agreed at the time of booking confirmation and is valid only for that group size. If the number of participants decreases, the price per person will likely increase; if it increases, the price per person will decrease, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
- If the original booking is for 10 or more participants and some of them decide not to join the tour, the whole reservation will still be treated as a group booking, keeping the original amount and the group cancellation terms.
3. Cancellation by the client
Any cancellation must be made in writing and acknowledged in writing by the Company. The date on which the Company or its agents receive the cancellation request determines the cancellation fees that apply.
Cancellation fees are expressed as a percentage of the total tour price, excluding insurance, and may change without prior notice.

Non-refundable items and unused services

- Amounts paid for entrance fees to tourist sites are non-refundable, unless the managing entity agrees to a refund.
- No refunds or compensation will be given for unused services, such as meals, rooms or excursions included in the tour price.
- During the tour, no person outside the contract may join without prior notice. Clients who leave the tour before it ends, for any reason, are not entitled to a refund from ANDES 2 AMAZON or to claim any extra costs.
4. Cancellation or changes by the company
The Company reserves the right to cancel any trip, but will not cancel a tour less than 60 days before departure except in cases of Force Majeure or unusual or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control. When a tour is cancelled by the Company before departure for any reason other than the fault of the Client, the Client may:
- take a substitute tour of equivalent or higher quality, if the Company is able to offer one;
- take a substitute tour of lower quality, if the Company is able to offer one, and receive a refund of the price difference; or
- receive a full refund of all money paid under the contract as soon as possible.
If the Client is offered a refund but requests an alternative tour of higher value, the Client must pay the difference in price.
If, after departure, a significant part of the trip cannot be provided, the Company will make suitable alternative arrangements so the trip can continue. If this is not possible, or the Client reasonably rejects the alternatives, the Company will refund the unused portions of the tour. Where a significant change or cancellation is not due to Force Majeure or other circumstances beyond the Company's control, the Company may offer compensation. Changes to the itinerary, or replacing a hotel or transport with another of the same category, are not considered significant changes.
5. Limitation of liability
The Company is not responsible for incidental expenses or consequential losses the Client may incur as a result of the booking, such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or train tickets, parking or other fees, loss of earnings or loss of enjoyment.
ANDES 2 AMAZON shall not be held responsible for any delay and its consequences, loss, injury or damage to any person or property resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, fire, accidents, mechanical or equipment failure, transport breakdowns, war, civil unrest, strikes, road blockades, riots, theft, epidemics, pandemics, quarantine, medical or customs restrictions or regulations, or any other cause beyond our control.
