Uyuni 3-Day Tour Entrance Fees (2026): What You Pay in Cash
Most Uyuni 3-day tours, including ours, do not include the entrance fees to the parks and sites along the way. You pay them in cash, in bolivianos, as you go. Here is exactly what you will pay, where, and how much cash to bring.
Entrance fees on the Uyuni 3-day tour
- Isla Incahuasi: Bs 30 per person. The cactus island in the middle of the salt flat, usually visited on day 1.
- Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve: Bs 150 per person. The protected area of the colored lagoons, geysers and flamingos, usually paid on day 2.
- Polques hot springs: Bs 30 per person. The natural thermal pools near the Salvador Dalí Desert, usually on the morning of day 3.
- Total: Bs 210 per person.
These are the amounts our travelers pay with Andes 2 Amazon in 2026. Fees are set by the local communities and the national parks service, and they can change, so we always confirm them before your trip.

Where and how you pay
Isla Incahuasi
You pay at the entrance of the island, before walking the trail among the giant cacti. In the rainy season, when the salt flat is flooded, some tours cannot reach the island, and in that case you do not pay this fee.
Eduardo Avaroa Reserve
You pay once at the park rangers' checkpoint when you enter the reserve. It is a one-time fee for the whole visit, not a daily charge. Keep your ticket with your passport until you leave the reserve, because rangers can ask to see it again. The reserve fee is not charged on a 1-day salt flat tour, which does not enter the protected area.
Polques hot springs
You pay at the entrance of the pools. Bring a swimsuit and a small towel: soaking in hot water at about 4,400 meters, with the sun rising over the desert, is one of the highlights of the trip.

Other small expenses
- Bathrooms: many stops charge a few bolivianos per use.
- Hot showers: some basic lodgings charge extra for a hot shower.
- Drinks and snacks: water, soft drinks and snacks are sold at most stops, at higher prices than in town.
- Tips: optional, for your guide and driver if you are happy with the service.
How much cash to bring
Plan on Bs 210 per person for entrance fees, plus extra for bathrooms, drinks and snacks. Bring everything in bolivianos and in small notes. There are no ATMs along the route after Uyuni, and cards and US dollars are not accepted at these sites.
Is the 2-day tour any different?
Our Salt Flats & Lagoons 2-day tour lists the same entrance fees on its page, so you can budget the same way. If you only have one day, the One Day Uyuni tour stays on the salt flat and does not enter the reserve.
